Canyoning is becoming one of the hottest guided adventures in Europe and Asia.  If you are an experienced climber, or guide, consider taking our 3 Day Canyoning Guide Training.

You will learn advanced anchoring techniques, knots, calls, waterfall rescue, canyoning safety and more.  For those who pass the assessment, a certificate of training completion is given.

Canyoning Training Intinerary:

Day 1 – Travel to Charaudi, Nepal (our canyoning base camp) from Kathmandu.  Set up camp;  head to canyon for lesson on knots, natural anchors, water safety, abseiling techniques.   Spend 5-6 hours in canyon.  Return to camp for dinner.

Day 2 – Breakfast 8 am; lesson on: working with clients, safety briefing, instructing clients how to abseil in waterfall.   Head to canyon; 4 hours.  Lunch break.  Return to canyon after lunch.  Practice rescue techniques.   Go over knots, anchors, leading canyoning, top and bottom belay.   4 – 5 hours in canyon.  Return for dinner.

 

Day 3 –  Breakfast 8 am; head to high water volume canyon.  Practice abseiling, scrambling, jumping.  Trainees take turns leading canyoning through this series of waterfall.   Assessment given throughout this day on anchoring, safety, client interaction, rescue, abseiling, and belaying.  Trainees who pass the assessment will be awarded a certificate of completion.
