If you’re a kayaker… then kayaking in Nepal is something you won’t want to miss.
One of the easiest river’s to access from Kathmandu is the Trisuli. This is good for those who are beginning to novice kayakers, play boaters (there are holes near Kurin Ghat Beach and Charaudi, for those who want to stay and play) , and anyone just wanting to paddle and have some fun.
The best thing about the Trisuli River is the camping. You can often find other kayakers along the riverside beaches camped for the night with rafting groups, or perhaps a secluded area with just a few friends. Camping as an add-on with Hardcore Nepal is around $25 and includes tent and dinner and breakfast.
Add-on beach camping for a fun evening of fire-side relaxing with friends on river. Just $25 per person.
Great for a stop-over on the way to Pokhara.
If you want to head for the river for one day, you can join one of our rafting trips and kayaking trips that depart daily. Kayakers have a guide who goes with their group and paddle the same areas as the popular rapids as we hit on our rafting trips. Kayaking day trips start at $45 per person per day.
You can go kayaking on any river in Nepal with some advanced planning. During the high season we are busy with Kayak Bootcamp Lessons and day trips. However, with a bit of notice, we can plan and guide your trips on the famous Karnali, Tamur, and Sun Koshi rivers. Prices vary per trip, location and length of expedition.
Our most popular trip is the one day Trisuli River trip which can be combined with canyoning or the Canyon, Cave and Climb trip to Bandipur.
Trisuli River White Water Rafting; or Kayaking $45 per day — 1 or 2 Day Trip from Kathmandu — this is the most accessible river to Kathmandu; just a few hours drive to our put in point near Charaudi, the Trisuli River is Nepal’s most “rafted” river. It had a fun for everyone with Class II – IV rapids that are especially juicy in high water!! With rapids like Pin Ball and Upset and some tasty surfing holes, this makes the Trisuli a fun kayaking river for play boaters and river runners a like. For rafters, you get a good mix of rapids and flat water for swimming and play; a jump rock, plus riverside lunch on the beach! Be ready to have some big laughs and hit some awesome waves on the Trisuli’s white water.
