One of many white water rafting rivers in Nepal, the Bhote Kosi offers an upper section for expert kayakers or extreme rafting enthusiasts, while the lower Bhote Kosi is a great one day rating trip appropriate for all skill levels.
Get a river view of pristine waterfalls and enchanted jungles, and watch the local villagers wave at your raft as you float past villages. This is a great way to see Nepal and experience the abundant life along her Himalayan river. At night, let the sound of the rapids lull you to sleep from cozy tent at our beachside camp.
The Bhote Kosi is a favorite river for rafting and kayaking in Nepal because it is easy to get to, has multiple sections with extreme class V rapids and on the lower some fun splash and crash class III rapids. There’s a little something for everyone.
Hardcore Nepal has daily departures for the lower Bhote Kosi river, but the Upper Bote Koshi is only done later in the season when the river opens and is accessible for rafting and kayaking.
The Upper Bhote Kosi has a couple areas where rafts must be portaged and even experienced kayakers are advised to portage their kayaks. The Upper Bhote Kosi is comparable to the Upper Gauley River in USA or Zambezi in Africa.
Bhote Kosi rafting or kayaking is a perfect combo with a Bungy Jump at the Last Resort. Ask us about package pricing!
