To be sure of a place on your chosen trip, you should make your booking as soon as possible. Early booking is helpful to us, as there are quite often special permits which have to be obtained well in advance of the group’s departure. Also, with the growing popularity of adventure travel, airline seats, especially at the busiest seasons of the year, are at a premium.
For trekking, you should book at least 3 months in advance, for “Nepal Trips” or Rock Climbing, Canyoning or day trips, you should book at least 4-6 weeks in advance during peak season. Some trips are available for next day for “walk-in” clients, so be sure to stop by our office if you are in Thamel to see what departures we have.
How to book
Before signing up for a trip we suggest you to read the description of the trip and, if you still have any questions please feel free to contact our office. We think your time in Nepal should be a great fun, so while choosing a trip we advise you to see which trip is best suited to you as per your previous experience and capabilities.
Once you finalized your choice, please book online or email us to pay a deposit to hold your space. Final payment is 30 days due prior to trip departure. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express via our Paypal web portal. Please request a Paypal invoice when booking more than 1 activity, and for more than 1 person. Group discount of 10% is available when booking 6+ people on the same trip, paying together on a single invoice.
On receipt of your booking form, we will send you confirmation of your place, along with a detailed information about your holiday – such as; how to obtain visas, health and medical considerations, traveler’s insurance application, how much money to take, equipment requirements and also general information about the country, people, climate etc.
Terms and Conditions
Reservations Space is limited to 2-12 participants for most trips. To reserve a space on a trip or trek, book online, in our office, or via email to info@trekthimalaya.com. You will be required to pay a 20% non-refundable deposit per person by bank telex transfer, PayPal or cash (USD or NPR) at time of booking. You will be sent/given immediate confirmation, trip information, and other pre-departure information.
The balance of the tour price must be paid 4 weeks prior to departure for trekking; and all other multi-day trips. Balance is payable in cash upon arrival to our office, or via Paypal online. For any last minute bookings (less than 4 weeks prior to departure) payment must be made in full at time of booking.
Clients should understand that all outdoor adventure involves risk, and though TREKT Himalaya, LLC/ Hardcore Nepal Pvt. Ltd. does everything possible to ensure your safety, your are undertaking this (these) activities at your own risk. We recommend all travelers have travel insurance booked through their local insurance providers.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel your expedition with us prior to 4 weeks before the date of departure, we will give you a 100% refund of any payments made excluding the 20% non-refundable deposit.
- If you cancel less than 4 weeks of departure you will forfeit your 50% payment.
- If you cancel within 2 weeks of departure you will forfeit your 100% payment.
- No-shows will not receive refunds.
