Siddha Cave at Bimal Nagar & Bandipur, Nepal
Two day caving and climbing trip. – $140
The first day we travel to Bimalnagar (near Pokhara) and spend the afternoon climbing; later we enjoy dinner and camping. The next morning we will take a hike up to the holy Siddha Cave and then abseil 70m into the inner most cavern. For those who don’t want to abseil this cave can be walked through. You will see holy shrines and amazing stalactites. From the Siddha Cave entrance you can see a beautiful view of the Annapurna Mtn. range and Marsyangdi River valley.
This is the perfect trip to combine with a journey to Pokhara, Bandipur, or Annapurna trekking. Bimal Nagar is about 70km before Pokhara (from Kathmandu) and just before Dumre, the turn off for the Annapurna trekking start-point. Also nearby is Bandipur, a beautiful village famed for is preserved ancient Newari buildings. Hiking, mountain biking, or kayaking are great add-ons to this
