Hardcore Nepal’s climbing team in back in Kathmandu and ready to head to Gorkha and Dhading regions Monday, May 4, 2015. The team will be accompanying Emergency Medical Trek Nepal volunteers bringing supplies and care to remote villages.
The Hardcore Nepal and Medical Trek Nepal teams are part of a grassroots network in Nepal spearheaded by companies in Pokhara like Paddle Nepal, Karma Flights and others who were the first to reach remote villages within 48 hours of the earthquake.
Kelly Maya Magar, owner of Paddle Nepal, has been organizing truck filled with food and shelters since early Sunday. Along with Andrea Clarkson-King, of Pure Land Expeditions, and Jenny Caunt of Himalayan Singletrack, this grassroots network of small organizations has already delivered food to be taken to the villages we will trek to. We are proud to be aligned with these great people and companies at this time of need for Nepal. They are truly doing remarkable work.
If you can donate to help us reach remote villages, please consider supporting this team effort through Emergency Medical Trek Nepal. Just $15 can buy a tarp to shelter a family. If every gives, we can protect our Nepali brothers and sisters and children from the oncoming monsoon.
