Canyoning at Jalbire in Chitwan, Nepal
This summer we have been so busy with canyoning. Normally the monsoon time is slow for tourist activities in Nepal, but it seems some hardcore adventurers have the right idea – when water is all around, why not just get wet!
For canyoning during the monsoon, we usually go to Charaudi canyon. It has less leeches than Sundarijal, and the water volume is not as massive as Jalbire. But right now (August), Jalbire Canyoning is the most fun this year. This allow our canyoning guests to experience Nepal’s most fun canyon. You slide, scramble, and abseil the whole way down. And don’t for about the big splash jump into the pool near the bottom.
There are canyons all over Nepal, and many that we don’t even know about. For the super adveture thrill seeker, ask about canyon discovery expeditions, where you can be the first to explore unchartered territory!
All Nepal Canyoning
For a multi-day Canyoning Nepal trip, you can go to all the major canyons in Nepal. See why Big Jumbo near the Bhote Kosi get it’s name, go to smaller private canyons like Charaudi, head out to Sundarijal (in the non leech season) and of course, our beloved Jalibire Canyon!
